Second Chance Dog Rescue Photo Shoot

On Friday, May 11 OH MY DOG! Photography held a special photo session for some of the dogs currently being fostered by the amazing volunteers at Second Chance Dog Rescue. We think we photographed 18 doggies in all! We’re not sure. There’s a lot of photos, perhaps you can count them yourself. Second Chance is doing a wonderful job of getting dogs out of terrible and life threatening situations and into the hands of an awesome group of volunteer foster parents. If your looking to adopt or foster, they have over 100 doggies to choose from, and that changes every day. They are always in need of new foster homes. Reality Shows & Rescue Dogs

About 4 weeks ago we were contacted by a British television company and asked if our family would be interested in taking part of their next reality show. After a couple discussions with producers, we decided that it would be a super fun experience for our whole family. The premise of the show is this: Many years ago the UK and USA launched a diplomacy program where they “Twinned” towns from each country. In our case, San Diego was “twinned” with Edinburgh, Scotland. We were to trade places with a family from Endinburgh, doing everything each family does in their own hometown, including eating the same foods, doing the same jobs, going to the same schools, etc. Needless to say, It was an amazing experience for our family. The family that traded places with us, Zedd and Saffire Stephens and their two sons, were tasked with doing a little dog photography while they were here. We set up Second Chance Dog Rescue to come in and bring dogs that needed some photos. Below are some of the pix from that session….Not bad for a Husband and Wife singer/songwriter duo from the land of fine whiskey, haggis and kilts. We’ll post some more photos and details on our travels later. Stay tuned!
