OH MY DOG! Calendar

Let me start by saying I’m sorry! For not posting in a long while. We have just finished one of our busiest and best months ever. Yay for us! In other Yay news, we have just been informed by our agent that OH MY DOG! Photography will have it’s own 12 month calendar, featuring some of our adorable dogs. The 2011 calendar will be manufactured and distributed to major retail outlets throughout the U.S. We’ve done some licensing work in the past, but nothing that is this large. Tee and I are excited at the thought of walking into our local drug store or book store and seeing the fruits of our labor on display.

So, let’s see…we have to have a photo…Oh! I know! I found this app for the iPhone that allows you to add hairdos to your favorite photos. Check
Out Gus, rockin’ the ‘fro.

Gus shines again!

Check out the latest catalog offered by our friends at Kimbra Studios.  Who is that dog that graces the front cover?  Well, it’s our very own Gus!  Kimbra is a wonderful company that takes your photos and turns them into fabulous, custom sterling silver jewelry and many other great things (ever see Mike’s belt buckle or Tee’s ring?).  Perhaps you are one of our commissioned clients that has purchased your digital files, or maybe you are one of our current clients that is ready to get your digital files?  It is definitely worth visiting Kimbra’s website for some ideas.  www.kimbrastudios.com

Big ol’ Lobster

We loaned our studio out early this morning for a private photo shoot for DEMA and the Del Mar Fair. I’m not going to go into detail, but it had something to do with restaurants. Anyway, many of many of the subjects broughts props. This guy brought his lobster. Apperently the restaurant sells live lobster, but they have a couple mammoth critters in their tanks. He said that the size of this lobster means it is about 150 years old. Having mercy on the old crustaceans for hanging around so long, they are going to have to beasts tagged and released into the wild…oh ya, and we ended up with free lunch from the other left over props.
