The Story of OH MY DOG! Photography

Tee Taylor and Mike Fish, Owners of OH MY DOG Photography, made a discovery. Family portraits were more fun whenever the family pets were included. One fine San Diego day, when Mike was noticing how many dogs were out and about with their owners, He turned to Tee and said, "I want to shoot pets!". After they shared a good laugh, they decided that pet photography would become the focus of their studio. Hundreds of dogs and a few puppy 'accidents' later, OH MY DOG Photography has become Southern California's premier pet photography studio. Within a year of being in business, OH MY DOG Photography was voted Best Pet Photography in San Diego. OMD Photo has also found success outside the San Diego area serving clients from LA, Orange County and well beyond. OH MY DOG Photography has been an active contributor to charities throughout the animal community, helping support shelters, rescues and service dog organizations.

Tee and Mike share a love of photography and pets. Together they have over 25 years of photography experience. They are happily married and their loving household includes teenagers Ace and Julia, as well as Maggie the 13 year old beagle/bull mix and Gus, the 2 year old spunky Boston Terrier. Tee enjoys taking spontaneous road trips on the search for a new photographic adventures, art, interior design, roller skating and disco funk. Mike enjoys writing songs in his spare time, foot massages, boogie boarding and Chargers football.

Yappy Hour Encinitas This Friday

Hi peeps! Sorry about the short notice, but we will be participating in this Friday’s yappy hour that is being hosted by St. Germain’s Cafe, Muttropolis and Rancho Coastal Humane Society. OH MY DOG! Photography will be on hand to take special art photos. You won’t want to miss this! See the flyer below for details, but you’ll have to be there to see what we are doing with our photos.

OH MY DOG! Yelps!

Too often, we are blowing our own horn about how great our photos are, how much fun our sessions are and how people are coming from all over the place to get their pets photographed at our studio. This morning, while doing some maintenance on our world wide web presence, I took a closer look at the comments that were being made by some of our clients on Yelp. It made me happy to see that the comments had come from all over Southern California. Anyway, Yelp is cool because it gives our clients a voice to tell others about their experience at OH MY DOG! Tongue as an accessory?…Meet Oliver & Co.

Oliver is one of those wonderful dogs that has been blessed with having a condition that keeps his big purple tongue swinging low on a consistent basis. Oliver was rescued thanks to his loving parents. Lucky for us, they love him enough to get great photos at our studio. Enjoy!
